If you love wine and love the Peninsula, we have found the perfect event for you. Back after a huge year last year, the Peninsula Vinehop Festival is now back - and bigger than ever!
Over two days and two very exciting festivals, experience all the Peninsula has to offer in a hop-on/hop-off wine tour festival. The most amazing of it's kind in the area (and if we're honest, the entire country!), this is an event that you will not want to miss. With 22 local beer, wine spirit ad cider brands will be available for tasting across 11 venues, with a shuttle bus to take you from venue to venue.
This year, VineHop has partnered with Venture Bus Lines, which will also gives you the chance to track a shuttle bus that suits your timing, and even track its whereabouts on the app.
Venues participating in this hugely popular wine festival are as follows;
- Bayview Estate
- Blue Range Estate Wines
- Dromana Estate
- Hickinbotham of Dromana Estate
- Kerri Greens
- Merricks General Wine Store
- Mock Red Hill
- Old Apple Shed
- Phaedrus Estate
- Stumpy Gully Vineyard
Red Hill Estate, last years most popular winery (with 1000 people through its doors on the day) has relocated to The Briars, as a special 'pop up winery', especially for this event.
Festival goers are able to chose the bus route that suits their tastes best, with a tasting adventure for all tastebuds. You may chose to purchase a general admission ticket, which entitles you to wine tasting at the listed 11 venues, but the shuttle is not included. Alternative transport must be arranged.
No matter what venue you do decide on, you are promised a host of fun, maybe a DJ or live entertainment and even a food truck or two!
The Post Event Sunday is the wind-down! From the rush of the Saturday, now is the time to put your feet up and relax at Hickinbotham of Dromana, with a five course picnic-style lunch to be enjoyed with a pairing of beer, wine or cider. Enjoy live entertainment and a feast!
